Field coordinator - Kataza
Nicole holds a Master’s Degree in Gender and Development from the University of Rwanda (UR) and a bachelor’s degree in social sciences in Sociology. She is currently working as the Provincial Field Coordinator in the MasterCard Foundation Project at RWAMREC. She worked in the BANDEBEREHO scale-up Program based in Burera District in the Northern province which is a gender transformative approach that engages men in promoting maternal, newborn, and child health, violence prevention, and caregiving.
She worked in different fields since 2010; previously in the Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) from which she has gained much experience in monitoring gender mainstreaming, monitoring prevention and response to GBV, and providing technical support in Gender Equality Seal (GES) project on implementing a program that promotes Gender Accountability in the private sector. She has worked with young girl students from different secondary schools in the program of mentorship; and with teen mothers in the social reintegration and legal support. She also worked in a telecommunication company for 7 years in the customer operations Department. Nicole is a self-driven person who is highly committed to preventing Gender-based Violence and any other injustices in society.
