Didier Uyizeye is an experienced data professional with over 15 years of expertise in program evaluation, data governance, and impact assessment across various sectors, including health, IT, governance, and gender-based programs. He has played a key role in developing and implementing M&E frameworks, ensuring data-driven decision-making, and strengthening policy development at national and international levels.

His work has influenced national policies, improved health service delivery, and enhanced decision-making processes in governmental and international organizations. Didier’s extensive career includes roles such as Data Manager for various health projects, Project Officer for Data Governance Initiatives at the Smart Africa Secretariat, and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for organizations like Women for Women Rwanda and World Relief Rwanda.

His technical expertise spans data processing, statistical analysis, and visualization tools, including Kobo, CSPro, Python, R, Stata, SPSS, and Power BI, as well as advanced database management systems like SQL Server and MySQL. Certified as an IBM Data Science Professional, he has completed specialized training in machine learning, data visualization, data governance, and statistical methods for program monitoring and evaluation.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management Systems from the Adventist University of Central Africa and has completed coursework for a Master of Science in Monitoring and Evaluation at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, currently at the dissertation level.

Didier’s key achievements include coordinating the development of the Pan-African Data Governance Blueprint for 39 countries, leading national data strategy projects for Senegal and Ghana, and designing and managing complex monitoring and evaluation systems. His track record of working with high-level stakeholders, including government officials and international organizations, demonstrates his ability to deliver impactful analytical insights and solutions.
