About the Role
Project Coordination & Planning
Oversee all phases of the project, from formative research to production and broadcast.
Ensure the timely implementation of activities by tracking deliverables and deadlines.
Conduct weekly check-ins and collaborative planning sessions with the NOVAH team.
Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead and support enumerators, writers, translators, and field staff.
Ensure quality assurance during fieldwork and script development processes.
Foster ethical, inclusive, and respectful team dynamics.
Field Research & Evaluation
Supervise data collection for formative research and ongoing monitoring activities.
Ensure adherence to ethical standards, including informed consent and data protection.
Coordinate the translation, testing, transcription, and quality review of research tools.
Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain strong, professional relationships with RWAMREC's institutional stakeholders.
Ensure transparent communication and effective collaboration throughout the project.
Recruitment & Contracting
Support recruitment processes, including drafting Terms of Reference, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing contracts.
Ensure alignment with RWAMREC’s internal policies and procedures.
Creative Facilitation
Coordinate co-writing sessions and feedback loops in the script development process.
Manage production timelines and ensure all outputs meet agreed quality standards.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Development, Public Health, Social Sciences, Project Management, or other related fields (A Master’s degree is an added advantage).
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in the gender or social development sector.
Proven ability to coordinate field activities, manage teams, and oversee project implementation.
Strong monitoring and evaluation skills, including experience with field research.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Kinyarwanda and English (knowledge of French is an added value).
High standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and teamwork.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Rwanda.
A flexible, proactive, and problem-solving mindset.
