Claire
Nyabuki

Member of the Conflict and Resolution Committee

As a RWAMREC board member overseeing conflict prevention, Claire Nyabuki is a dedicated women’s rights activist with over 10 years of experience advocating for vulnerable groups in Rwanda. She holds a Master’s Degree in Gender Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management.

Claire’s professional journey includes significant roles in both government and hospitality. She spent three years as a coordinator for country elections, where she was responsible for supervising, evaluating, and managing activities across six cells in the Rusizi district. Additionally, she has worked as a cashier and receptionist at Guest House de Rusizi EER.

From 2007 to 2008, Claire served as the Executive Secretary at Mont Cyangugu cell. Currently, she is a Student Warden at the College of Science and Technology at the University of Rwanda.

Claire Nyabuki’s diverse background and steadfast commitment to gender equality make her a prominent figure in advocating for women’s rights in Rwanda.
