Beatrice Ntazinda
Secretary General
Beatrice Ntazinda has served as the General Secretary at the RWAMREC Board since July 4, 2019. Prior to this role, she was a board member at the Caisse d’Entraide de Butare (CEB). Born in Burundi, specifically in Cibikote province, on December 2, 1975, Beatrice holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Counseling (PGCC) from the former Kigali Health Institute (KHI), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration and Management Office (A0) from the former Kigali Institute of Education.
Since 2005, Beatrice has been employed at the University of Rwanda, initially starting as an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Vice Rector Academic and Research (VRAR) at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS). Subsequently, she assumed administrative responsibilities at the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Strategic Planning and Administration Office (DVC SPA) at the University of Rwanda. Currently, Beatrice serves as an Administrative Assistant to the ICT Dean at the College of Science and Technology (CST). She also worked as a secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister for two years from 2003 to 2005.
In addition to her administrative roles, Beatrice also works as a counselor, providing support to individuals facing challenges within Rwandan society, particularly addressing issues such as sexual violence and marital misunderstandings.
