Fidele Rutayisire is founder and executive director of the Rwanda Men's Resource Center (RWAMREC). A lawyer by education, Fidele is a passionate and articulate women's rights activist in Rwanda. He holds a Master's Degree in Gender and Development and a post graduate degree in Peace building and he is involved in many women's organizations in Rwanda. He is a board member of various local and international organizations including BENIMPUWE, ARDHO, and Business owners association, Hope Assistance Foundation, Servas International and Living Peace Rwanda. He has also been a board member of PROFEMMES TWESE HAMWE an umbrella of 53 Women's organizations in Rwanda and the East African civil society organization forum (EACSOF). Fidele Rutayisire is a Rwandan who initiated and rallied the world to sign the petition against Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Kenya during the post-election violence held in early 2008. He has also been the winner of the 2011 GBV Prevention Network 16 days of activism named what's your way competition on how to prevent violence against women.

Mrs. Intaramirwa Chrystel works as a project coordinator for the Rwanda Men's Resource Center (RWAMREC); a Rwandan national leading Organization in addressing gender issues using the Men Engage approach; where she has devoted the past five years of her life working to promote gender justice. Her main area of expertise is in the field of prevention of Gender-based violence (GBV) and promotion of children and women's rights. Mrs. Intaramirwa current activities include the overall management of Prevention+ project, a multi-country and multi-level GBV prevention programme funded by the Dutch ministry of Foreign Affairs that seeks to root causes of GBV and contribute to creating a society where healthy and equal relationships are the norm. Her other recent activities are in the area of youth mentorship and promotion of gender justice through projects funded by international institutions such as Plan International, the Norwegian People's Aid, JHPIEGO etc…. She has in addition worked with Plan International-Rwanda, a development and Humanitarian Organization that advances children's rights and equality for girls; as a Child rights and gender project Coordinator.Mrs. Intaramirwa was born in 1982 in Burundi; she is married, a mother of two, and she currently resides in Rwanda. Best student in her faculty for consecutive years, she graduated Summa Cum laude in Women and Gender studies first from the University of the Western Cape and Bard College in New York; and subsequently from the University of Pretoria in South Africa where she obtained an Honors degree. Mrs. Intaramirwa is fluent in English and French; and she has extensive experience in Entrepreneurship and Business development; after having graduated and worked with the Rwanda Business Development Center in previous years. Her other primary interests and hobbies are writing, traveling, music and cuisine.

Mr. MUNYANZIZA Jonathan holds a Masters' Degree in Gender and Development obtained from University of Rwanda and a Bachelor Degree in Arts and Humanities from National University of Rwanda.  He attended various courses on gender equality and GBV, gender audit, results-based management, advocacy and communications, etc. He currently works at RWAMREC as the Projects Coordinator since 2016 where one of his key responsibilities is to organize and carry out training activities on gender equality, GBV and engaging males. Mr. MUNYANZIZA occupied different positions in Government and Non-Government institutions including but not limited to: Acting Executive Secretary of Rwanda Men's Resource Centre (RWAMREC); Acting Director in charge of Gender Mainstreaming at the Gender Monitoring where he had also been a Gender Analyst Officer; He also worked at the Ministry of Local Government (MINALOC) in various capacities like: Acting Director in charge of Community Development and Social Affairs and previously was in charge of Communications. He was a teacher in secondary school for a long period and he is a part time lecturer in Kibogora Polytechnique where he gives the course of Managing gender diversity in business. MUNYANZIZA Jonathan has over 11 years of experience in teaching and more than 7years in gender and GBV related research, assessments and gender monitoring and Evaluation.

Mr. HABINSHUTI Martin has worked for RWAMREC for over 5 years and has over 8 years of working experience in gender, specifically focusing on women empowerment and engaging men and boys in gender transformative programs. He worked for 3 year at Pro-Femmes / Twese Hamwe. He worked on different projects at RWAMREC which were successful including Boys4change, Girls' Futures, Men engage in maternal and child survival program and currently works on Ending Domestic Violence Project.  Martin holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Mount Kenya University option of Health Services Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from the National University of Rwanda. He is fluent at Kinyarwanda, English and French. In 2017 Mr. HABINSHUTI became a Mandela Washington fellow, studied Civic Education and leadership at the Staley school of leadership at Kansas State University in the USA. He is committed to advocacy, influencing behavior change for a safe society, free of gender inequality. He enjoys working with other people (team sprit).

Mrs. Alice UWERA is the Finance Manager at RWAMREC and has worked there in the same capacity for over 8 years. She holds an MBA in Finance and has 12 years experience in the field of accountancy & finance, a strong expertise in spearheading corporate and financial planning initiatives in Non government organizations; designing and implementing systems to achieve financial discipline and improve the overall efficiency of the organization; strong analytical skills; ability to compile, verify, analyze, interpret and disseminate financial data  to all donors  and in multiple currencies; acquisition accounting and mergers; competent in statutory reporting and tax related tasks; successful implementation analysis and management of accounting systems and procedures. Ever since she joined RWAMREC, Mrs. UWERA successfully carried out the following tasks: Determining financial objectives. Designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control; Preparing Annual Budget and forecasting trends; Developing reports for top management summarizing the financial position in areas of income, expenses, cash flows and coordination and preparation of budgets and financial forecast; developing and updating accounting, finance and management policies and procedures; effective Cash Flow Management; monitoring budgets and comparing them with actual cost and revenues related to production, marketing and capital; and Coordinating the preparation, maintenance and filing of projected P&L Account.

Mrs. MUKANKURANGA Gloria holds a Bachelor Degree in Management obtained from Kigali Independent University. She attended various trainings on NGO management, Human Resource Management; she has 14 years of experience in the field of accounting and human resource management. She currently works as the Human Resource and Administration Manager at Rwanda Men's Resource Centre (RWAMREC), a local NGO dedicated to advancing gender equality. She occupied different positions in private Sector and non-government institutions, she is hard working has ability to work independently and as a team. She is married and a mother of three children, her hobbies are swimming and having fun with the kids

Mr. HANGANIMANA Emmanuel holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Rwanda, college of medicine and health sciences. He also did social sciences, nursing and midwives from the academic institutions of Rwanda. He is currently working at RWAMREC as the Field Coordinator of Ending Domestic Violence project-funded by NPA. Since 2013, he successfully worked and occupied different positions within RWAMREC under various projects like: MenCare+ and Indashyikirwa project which aimed at Gender equality and GBV prevention by engaging Men and boys to achieve positive masculinities.  His professional experience demonstrates that he is a visionary and has a wider experience in health, social and development projects in CSOs. His expertise goes also into project coordination; monitoring and evaluation; learning processes; administration; budget allocation and follow up; facilitating and conducting training on gender and GBV prevention and response; engaging men in sexual reproductive health and rights and child health (MCH); family planning; nutrition; water and sanitation; HIV/AIDS and STIs prevention and advocacy.

Ms. MUTESI Florence is the Research, Advocacy and Communications Expert working for Prevention+, a global programme that aims at addressing the root causes of Gender Base Violence at the Rwanda Men's Resource Centre (RWAMREC). She is a National and global advocate for engaging men and boys in promoting gender equality, women empowerment, gender justice, and positive masculinities and Gender Transformative approach. She formally worked as the Research Associate/Consultant at the Institute of Policy Analysis and Research; Director of Governance Policy and Practice Research at Rwanda Governance Board and worked in other research, analysis and advocacy capacities with Civil Society Organizations in the USA like Centre on Budget and Policy Priorities through International Budget Partnership and Population Reference Bureau. Ms. Mutesi has authored individual Research papers, chapter books and spearheaded Institutions' research and publications. She also carried out various consultancy work where she worked with Civil Society Organizations based in Rwanda and Africa. She was part of the Expert working group working on Governance and Rule of Law and Gender for post MDGs, the Sustainable Development Goals by UNDP-New York and she is an associate/advisor of Influence Africa. Ms. Mutesi has a Master's in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy where and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the National University of Rwanda. She has acquired Research, Policy Analysis, advocacy and media trainings like: Certificate in African Standby Force Civilian Foundation Course by the African Union; Governance and Development in Africa by Centre of African Studies, London University; Certificate in Policies, Strategies and Support Systems for Rural Revitalization by Weitz Centre for Development Studies, Israel; Certificate in Rule of Law in Post Conflict Countries by the East African Standby Force-Kenya and Certificate in journalism by World Journalist Institute and USA. Mr. Fabien NTAGWABIRA works as a Field coordinator at RWAMREC where for the past six years he has worked to promote gender justice. His main area of expertise is in the field of prevention of Gender-based violence (GBV), by engaging men and boys in the promotion of gender equality and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, women empowerment, through transformative programs and institutionalization approach. Mr. NTAGWABIRA current activities include the implementation of Prevention+ project on the field. He was also a field coordinator of MenCare+/Bandebereho project, a four-years project that aimed at addressing harmful norms and behaviors by engaging men as engagement with men and their partners. Prior to that, Mr. NTAGWABIRA also worked on a number of donor-funded programs like: He coordinated Rusizi HIV/AIDS and PF/MCH program for Low Income Women, Female Sex Workers, Youth, Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) funded by USAID through FHI360/ROADS; worked as Administrative Director in EBC Engineering, worked in local government institutions as Executive Secretary of Impala District in Western Province, worked as Headmaster of Gafunzo Secondary School, worked as a teacher in Secondary and Primary schools. and has a strong experience in coordinating and managing multi-projects. Mr. NTAGWABIRA holds an Advanced Diploma in Human Sciences and History from the University of Rwanda and Bachelor degree in Social Sciences and Demography from Independent University of Kigali (ULK). Mr. SHYIKIRO Gimu Ntayoberwa, the Field Coordinator of Prevention+ Programme in Karongi District, has worked for RWAMREC for five years in gender specifically focusing on women empowerment, engaging men and boys in the promotion of gender equality through transformative programs and institutionalization approach. He also has over 9 years' extensive experience in coordinating and managing multi-projects with different donor-funded programs such as: worked at SWAA-Rwanda as the Programme Officer; at FHI-Rwanda he worked as the Project Officer and Site Coordinator where he worked with truckers, refugees, prisoners and fishers, at RRP+ worked as the Nyarugenge and Kicukiro District coordinator where he worked with people living with HIV; at CNLS worked as the CNLS-Kirehe District Executive Secretary; Secondary Teacher at ESSA Gisenyi, teaching nursing.
Mr. SHYIKIRO holds an Advanced Diploma in nursing from the University of Rwanda and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the Universite de Goma. He attained Certificates in: training MenEngage approach focusing on Maternal and Child Health & Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights (MCH & SRHR), Family Planning (FP), Gender Responsive Budget (GPR), Gender Mainstreaming and HIV, Gender Based Violence Law & Child Right, HIV/AIDS as well as Monitoring and evaluation. He is Excellent Kinyarwanda, fluent in French, Kiswahili and good in English.

Jean Bosco Rudasingwa is the National Project Coordinator of Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Project (GEWEP) at RWAMREC. He has worked with the organization since August 2014. He works on engaging men and boys in promoting gender equality and women empowerment, planning and budgeting. He also served as a representative of local NGOs in the executive committee of the provincial forum of partners in Southern Province of Rwanda (2016-2018). Prior to joining RWAMREC, Mr. Rudasingwa worked with the Rwandese Association of Professional Trauma Counselors – ARCT RUHUKA for 4 years; worked at the Umbrella for Genocide Survivors Organisations – IBUKA. Before that, he worked with the National Fund for vulnerable Genocide Survivors “FARG” for 4 years. Throughout his professional path, Mr. Rudasingwa has been involved in building resilience through psychosocial support and advocacy especially for women, children, and other vulnerable groups. He has also worked with projects funded by the Government of Rwanda, USAID, DFID, CARE international, ded and Medecin du monde. Mr. Rudasingwa is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Human Rights from Annamalai University in India, and he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Catholic Institute of Kabgayi (Rwanda). He is fluent at Kinyarwanda French and English. His hobbies are reading, socializing and contemplating lakes/seas. He is a strategic, skilled, and hardworking human rights activist with a track record of having worked with various organisations. He built a strong career in empowering vulnerable people and communities when working with public institutions and civil society organizations.

Mr. Mico Ntunga Patrick is 45 years old, a Rwandese, married and a father of   four children.  He holds a Masters' degree in Social science, Gender and development studies from the Kigali institute of Education and a Bachelors' degree in Psychology and Education sciences from the National University of Rwanda. For the last 18 years, Patrick has been dedicated to promoting equal rights for men and women; He is currently is in charge of the monitoring and evaluation in prevention + project of Prevention+ Programme, a multi-country and multi-level GBV prevention programme funded by the Dutch ministry of Foreign Affairs that seeks to address the root causes of GBV and contribute to creating a society where healthy and equal relationships are the norm. He worked as an Expert in gender mainstreaming, women empowerment and advocacy at the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion in Rwanda; then as a coordinator of pool of gender expert and Director of Gender monitoring and Audit at the Gender monitoring office in Rwanda. He also served as a consultant and researcher for various private and public institutions; all seeking to contribute to effectively mainstreaming gender in policies, laws, strategies and projects. Mr. Mico attended different international, regional and national specialized courses in the area of Gender responsive planning, budgeting, advocacy and Monitoring and Evaluation   as well as Gender transformative approaches, GBV prevention and response organized by recognized institutional such us: JICA, CIDA, SIDA, UNECA, UNWOMEN, UNFPA and UNDP. He also participated in different regional, continental and international conference on gender and women's empowerments.

Mrs. RUGANJI Illuminee is a Driver. She holds a Bachelor's degree in science of agri-business from the Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education of KIBUNGO and the Professional certificate in Laboratory Technician, teaches community health, Sensibilization and analyzes lab exams. She has experience in community health for 7 years. Since she joined RWAMREC, she was trained in Child Protection Policy, and MenEngage Approach, policy analysis and imihigo planning and budgeting; Result Based Management and Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting (PDEP).

Immaculee MUKANKAKA is a Field officer of Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Project (GEWEP) at RWAMREC where she has worked since January 2015.  She is in charge of Nyanza and Ruhango Districts Districts in Southern Province. Her work focuses on promoting positive masculinities, preventing all forms of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and engaging men as allies in women's economic empowerment. Before joining RWAMREC, she supported research initiatives across organizations and government institutions where she utilized qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate the health status of Rwandan population. 
Immaculee was a board member for 4 years of PROFEMME TWESE HAMWE which is an Umbrella of civil society organizations.  She is also the Chair of conflict resolution committee in CLADHO, an umbrella of civil society organization. Immaculee holds a Bachelor's degree in Demography from Universite Libre de Kigali (ULK).

NDAYAMBAJE Félix is the Prevention+ Project Accountant. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management, specializing in accounting sciences. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Management. He worked for 3 years and half as an Executive Secretary of Muhanga Mining Cooperatives Union, under the supervision of FECOMIRWA. Felix also worked at the University of Kibungo (UNIK) for 4 years on the position of accountant. Félix has professional competences in finance, accounting software, payroll management and basic computer skills.

Mrs. KAMUNGU Bernadette has over 10 years experience in the public and NGO management and over 4 years working at RWAMREC. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from National University of Rwanda.  Mrs. KAMUNGU is a self-motivated person, able to use own initiative and work as part of a team. Proven leadership skills, including managing and motivating others to achieve organization's objectives. She has project management, computer, planning and organizational skills. In many years of experience, she worked with youth, women and community in different interventions like: Women and youth empowerment; Health and social protection; Education; Entrepreneurship and Men engage and Gender equality. Mrs. KAMUNGU has worked for 3 years on youth mentorship program, coordinating interventions in Nyamagabe and Nyaruguru Districts in Southern Province, which aimed at involving boys to promote gender Equality and ending gender-based violence in schools and community, under GENDER AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT project (GEWEP).

NDAYAMBAJE   Jean   Claude has a Bachelor's Degree in Management with Specialization in Accounting. Since 2014 he has been working with RWAMREC as the Project Accountant and has acquired experience in the field of Accountancy and monitoring budget and Accounting system. Jean Claude worked for 2 years and half as a Store Keeper at the Rwanda nature resource authority (RNRA) in the Northern Province. He has professional Competences in Finance and Accounting software.

Mrs. Pelagie MUJAWAMARIYA, is the Administrative Assistant at RWAMREC where she has worked since November 2013 focusing on Secretariat duties and logistics. She has over 20 years of experience in Administration acquired from different National NGOs such as Reseau des Femmes Oeuvrant pour le Developement Rural (ASOFERWA) and international NGOs like UNICEF and FHI 360 and the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC), a Public institution. Mrs. Pelagie has a diploma in Arts and holds different certificates in management of Secretariat, Human Resource management and Procurement Management. She speaks French, Kinyarwanda and English.

UWASE Serge holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from the Protestant Institute of Art and Social science (PIASS). He has excellent verbal and written communication and innovation skills. He speaks Kinyarwanda French and English. Serge was trained in: Trainer of trainers (ToT) in Gender and development by CARITAS RWANDA, Adult literacy by VSL methodology; Gender equity and diversity, leadership and management of farmer groups by CARE international; Engaging men as equitable partners in a household (CWD-RWAMREC); Couple’s curriculum (JOT) by RWAMREC. He is skilled in in managing groups, with an experience of 12 years working on field, coordinating and supervising activities. Serge also worked with development projects and different NGOs aiming at reducing poverty like: CARITAS, ARTCF, GTZ, ARDI, RSSP. He worked for RWAMREC from December 2015 to April 2016 as a Community trainer under  INDASHYIKIRWA project in Musanze district of north province, he then became a Field Officer in GEWEP II where he has been in charge of Huye and Gisagara Districts of southern province. His hobbies are playing Basketball, orchestra and comedy.

Niyibizi Dominique is an expert in Gender and development with practical skills in HIV/AIDS and gender-based violence prevention, poverty reduction projects and rural development projects. Dominique has almost 10 years of experience working in civil society organisations, especially on projects designed to advance gender equality, promote women’s economic empowerment and child rights; this since 2009. He also has technical knowledge and experience in project management and gender-responsive programming in areas of poverty reduction, Child protection and health promotion; as well as extensive experience in community training, organizational capacity building through provision of trainings, and development of related management tools and materials. Dominique masters the art of conducting Training of Trainers in gender promotion, gender-based violence prevention, MenEngage approaches, as well as organizational capacity building in mainstreaming and implementing male engagement and masculinity-focused approaches in gendered development programs. Dominique has been involved and led initiatives aimed at building organizational capacities in developing tools for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of gender-responsive programs, andin development of related training modules. Dominique possesses knowledge in administration and human resources, financial and material resources management for development programs. He holds a Master’s degree in Development studies and a Bachelors degree in social sciences, specializing in Administrative sciences.

Mr. Jean de Dieu Mwizerwa, Field officer in Prevention + is a dedicated, result-oriented officer with over ten years of progressive experience in donor-funded gender and GBV prevention programs/projects in Rwanda. He possesses skills in implementation, monitoring and evaluation, gender and conflict resolution methods. His areas of technical expertise include gender, capacity development, social inclusion, and peace-building. Mr. Mwizerwa has extensive experience in working with civil society organizations (CSOs) and public institutions. At Rwamrec, he worked on the Indashyikirwa project as a field officer in Burera and Kirehe. Before joining RWAMREC, Mr. Mwizerwa worked at RBC as a CDLS coordinator in charge of HIV/AIDS; at CONCERN WORLDWIDE as an HIV AIDS and Gender officer; at World Relief as a District manager in charge of HIV/AIDS. Mr Mwizerwa has over the years received trainings on Basic Monitoring and Evaluation organized by RBC; Health policy and program management in South Korea organized by the Ministry of health and KOICA; Behavior and Social Change Communication organized by UNICEF; planning, monitoring and evaluation organized by CONCERN WORDWIDE; Gender based violence organized by CNLS; partnership, communication and facilitation skills; counseling organized by World Relief, amongst others. Mr. Mwizerwa has demonstrated organization and listening skills; as well as the ability to prioritize multiple and complex tasks with conflicting deadlines. Mwizerwa possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Social sciences (sociology) from the National University of Rwanda; and he is fluent in English, French and Kinyarwanda.

Jean Baptiste NSENGIMANA works as a field officer for the Rwanda Men’s Resource Center (RWAMREC). He has 12 years of experience in community development activities, primarily focusing on community-awareness; both in government institutions as well as non-governmental organizations. The 5 last years of his career were spent at RWAMREC, where Jean Baptiste has worked as a Community trainer in Nyaruguru and a Field Officer in Burera Districts respectively; and his work has been mainly focused on promoting gender equality and GBV prevention; this from 2013. Jean Baptiste previously worked as a District Coordinator for the Rwanda Network of people living with HIV/AIDS from 2012-2013, and as a technical assistant in charge of integration of HIV/AIDS control activities in health sector, Gatsibo District from 2007 to 2012. He also served as a caring nurse at Nemba hospital from 2004 to 2007. Jean Baptiste holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Technology and Arts of Byumba (former IPB). He has been married for the past 12 years; and is a father of 2. His other areas of expertise include result-oriented planning, activism and advocacy for women and child rights. He is a hard working, enthusiastic, ambitious and optimist person. Jean Baptiste counts amongst his great achievements the positive transformation of couples in Burera District, Kivuye sector in 2017-2018.

KARAMAGE Emmanuel works as Field Coordinator in WOW Project at the Rwanda Men’s Resource Center (RWAMREC). He has over 10 years of working experience in promotion of gender equality in rural and in emergency situation of Refugee context. Emmanuel worked for the MenCare+ BANDEBEREHO and Girls Take the Lead Projects in engaging men and boys in promoting gender equality, Sexual Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR), and Maternal Child Health care (MCH). He has a wide training experience with different approach focusing on women empowerment, prevention of Gender Based Violence using Men Engage Approach. Emmanuel has worked for over 10 years in different INGOs and LNGOs such as Care International in Rwanda, ARCT-RUHUKA and ARBEF. Emmanuel holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Mount Kenya University, option of International Health and Development; and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Kigali Independent University (ULK). He is fluent at Kinyarwanda, English and French.

BAMURANGE KAZIMBAYA Shanny is a Field Officer in Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Program (GEWEP) in RWAMREC since August 2014. She coordinates 2 Districts in the Southern Province, namely MUHANGA and KAMONYI. Shanny’s work focuses on eliminating harmful masculine norms, preventing gender-based violence, and engaging men as allies in women’s Economic empowerment. Prior to joining RWAMREC, she worked with The Ministry of Sports and Culture as the Public Relation Officer; this included several key advocacy initiatives, to shape and elevate the Ministry’s Campaigns, media relationships, and institutional partnerships for two years. Shanny also worked with SWAA RWANDA and Strive Foundation Rwanda in Kigali as Field officer, focusing on health education as well as on education and Community development. She possesses a Bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), and a Master’s degree in conflict resolution and Peace building from Kampala International University (KIU).

Silas NGAYABOSHYA, a Rwandan by nationality, is now working for RWAMREC as a Program Manager. He has accumulated vast and strong professional record of more than 14 years in the area of Gender equality promotion, child protection and inclusive development. The main areas of his experience include analyst in Gender Equality promotion, GBV prevention and Mainstreaming MenEngage approaches into gender transformative programs; promotion of positive masculinities and gender-based violence prevention in agriculture, refugee camps settings and health services as well as promotion of inclusive development and diversity management. He has implemented the above into community mobilization approaches and strategies, conception, facilitation, monitoring and evaluation of training and sensitization sessions, project cycle management: conception, planning, monitoring and evaluation and, project closure. His experience also includes fundraising strategies and funds mobilization, Organizational and institutional development: organizational capacity building, reinforcement of community based groups and associations, the management and the coaching of different and diversified project teams. A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences with education, a professional diploma in special needs & inclusive education and, a Master’s degree in gender and development, for the last 14 years, Silas worked with both national and International NGOs and has been assigned to a variety of responsibilities including serving as a Projects Manager and head of advocacy at Forum for Activists Against Torture and Violence (FACT-Rwanda) for 4 years, Project Manager of an EU funded Inclusive Education project at Handicap International in Rwanda for 4 years. Silas has also previously served as a Projects Coordinator at the Rwanda Men’s Resource Centre (RWAMREC) for 4 years (2012-2016), the Gender and Crosscutting Issues Manager at Faith Victory Association (FVA) and the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program Coordinator at FAWE Rwanda until December 2018. Throughout this career pathways, Silas acquired huge managerial skills and competencies as well as programmatic knowledge demonstrated by a high level of competencies in planning, oversight, financial, human, office and program management, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, fundraising expertise from in-country and global scale donors like UNICEF, EU, USAID, ECCO Netherlands, CORDAID, SIDA, UKAID and other development Corporation Agencies in various sectors including but not limited to Child protection, gender equality promotion, positive masculinities approaches and inclusive education & development. Silas holds strong records of negotiation, lobbying skills, advocacy and policy influence from Education, Gender, Social Protection and inclusion, Social Development related Government structures in Rwanda notably the Ministry of Gender and family promotion, the Ministry of Education, the ministry of health, Rwanda Education Board, MIDIMAR, District JADF and local and INGOs platforms like ”Rwanda Education NGO Coordination Platform-RENCP.
