A new year has started. RWAMREC would like to wish all the Rwandan citizens a fruitful year. At RWAMREC, we are glad that Rwanda has made significant strides in term of gender equality and in terms of development in general.
In November 2015, the world economic forum published the global gender gap report. This report ranks countries in terms of four main areas: economic participation and opportunity, education, health and survival, political empowerment. In 2015 ranking, Rwanda ranked 6th worldwide and first in Africa while Rwanda has previously ranked 7th in the 2014 report.Click here to view the Newsletter.
